National Night Out is our biggest event of the year. For us it's an opportunity for Local Agencies and our residents to come together and be informed but also have fun. We get tons of food and have lots of games for everyone to play. We've done Hula Hoop contests, jalepeno eating contests, water balloon tosses and more.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
• Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
• Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
